Character Design Challenge ♯153- Buildings

So, for this weeks challenge, I want you guys to go all architectural and design the best building you can using heromachine. When I say building, I mean any freestanding structure supported by foundations, so you can do a house, a roman villa, a skyscraper, a castle, a bridge, a factory, a university, anything like that. Now obviously, there are already some buildings in heromachine as items (mostly in the backgrounds section). Don't use them. You can use backgrounds- cityscapes for backgrounds obviously, but don't build you building by adding on to an already designed building that's an item, that's not going to get you anywhere.

As per usual, no limits on the number of entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.

Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

    Space Colony
my entry probably isn’t as good as every one elses but here it is.

  3. Colonists ran into a surprise when they went to drill for water on a certain planet. The surface just wouldn’t remain stable enough to drill, except where the indigenous life walked. It turned out that, like many aboriginal species, the local quadrupeds had developed a good instinct and sensory awareness of their surroundings. Since the one species, dubbed “Giant Spike Sloths,” tended to crush the well equipment with their massive paws, they made a quick study and revamped their strategy. Now the colonists drill the flanks of the male quadrupeds to get their water, process it, and fly it to central living quarters on the females. Shown here is Water Reclamation Station E34 in two shots: a bubble lens on approach from a water flyer and a panoramic view of GSS-E34. The computer program that levels the tension grid holding up the station and their tenants is actually quite simple. Each step of GSS-E34 takes about six hours.

  4. You may have heard of my Satyr bard Philander a while back, this is his Bardic College. It’s an octagon with a towers and a gold dome.
There is even a tiny Philander satyr on the closest bank,, along with a fox and several birds in and around the tree

That was a pretty wild advernture. It was my birthday spotlight game in 2011.
One of the odd things about the college. it is of alien oragin, and was on an asteroid, in a Spelljammer adventure, we
were fighting some villains who had discovered a song to bring the powerful alien Gonn who were musical spheres of great power and intelligence. Philander was able to play a song of warning to the Gonn about the villians intent to control and use them for destruction. The villians were vanquished by our party and Philander ended up communicatiing with the Gonn in song and ended up with the now unused college as a thank you from the Gonn complete with the asteroid being carefully plunked down on our planet.
There was a catastrophic event (all three DMs desiced to fuse their game worlds together and the three planets breached a dimensional rift and collided) so when Philanders Bardic College set down, his was the only remaining one, the only seat of music training. Many people flocked to his college and the surreounding lands.
