Character Design Contest ♯90 (Insect Themed) Winner

This weeks poll was a two horse race right from the start, with two of our entrants running away with 70% of the votes. But even though it was close between them for most of the week, there can only be one winner. And that winner is Skybandit for his Stinging Mantis. Congrats Sky, your first win in a while I believe, and thanks to everyone else who entered.

  1. When Skybandit posted this one, I said he’d win. Congrats man. 🙂

  2. Thanks, all.
@ Lef: I know the feeling, buddy. Been there.
@ Anarchangel: You almost snatched it with your tasteful use of two circular emblems and the adolescent vote, eh? 🙂 Gotta stop wasting my time with male characters, the females always do so much better in these polls.

Since the forums are down, can I sit on Santa Dblade’s knee and ask for one of these?

Draw it at an angle so we can stick characters in the seats, please. Any other biplane will do, I just have a soft spot for this one because it was so versatile.

  3. Does he inject chosen toxin or waste oil from his crankcase? Good job, man.

Never underestimate how much people like circles. 🙂

  5. Congrats, Skybandit!

We are back on line! Post your request in my Whiz Bang thread…

I will warn you that your biplane request falls under the Companion category which I will typically not take on as an assignment. If you could add an alternate item that would be great. I still might do the plane…you never know.
