Justice League: War

Here is a clip DC comics released on Youtube from soon to be released “Justice League: War” Animated Movie :

I most say even though it was a very short clip, I think they went with an interesting take on Wonder Woman, though I am not sure I like the costume design they went with here.

  1. Some of her costume is not bad, but the full neck and shoulder coverage is a little much, plus the amount of red is to much.

  2. And the lack of gold is making it a little off. Sorry I should of said sleeve not shoulder.

  3. This design comes from the new 52. Honestly! How do you fuXX up the wondersuit? by doing that! I’d prefer to see the action in jeans and a tee-shirt than that!

  4. I actually like the WW outfit in this clip. I’ve been a fan of Wonder Woman…but I never really cared for her classic costume. She’s an amazon warrior and for some reason the costume in this clip says “Warrior” to me. I’m not crazy about her new 52 costume either.

Also…this looks like it’s going to be a good film. Even though Marvel has cornered the market with its live action adaptations, DC is still cranking out awesome animated features.

  5. I agree I’m looking forward to this movie. And I’m excited because it’s one that has shazam and the justice league in it.

  6. Hmm. Not really a big fan of the new look, but at least they ditched the stupid “Members Only” style jacket that she was sporting a few years ago. Also, who is voicing Wondie here? She sounds a little wooden to me. If you ask me, Susan Eisenberg from the “Justice League” and “Justice League Unlimited” IS the voice of Wonder Woman–just the right mix of steel and sex appeal.

  7. Before watching the Clip, just based on the costume design I would have told you that this must be Donna Troy’s new look! It just doesn’t say Wonder Woman to me.

  8. Bit overboard on the battle cries, but I do like the new look more than some I`’ve seen featured here.

  9. To me what makes the costume look off, is that it looks like a full body suit, but with the thighs and shoulders missing.

Whenever a superhero movie comes out, it’s always interesting to see what they do with the costume(s). Designs aside, though, I am looking forward to this movie.

  10. I just have one question: were those parademons? as in Darkseid’s Parademons?????

  11. @Worf: Well here is the actual movie trailer which should answer your question. http://youtu.be/q3F9ASSsHUk
