The Secret Lair
It’s powdered sugar!
Jeff, how exactly did pulp comic characters survive more than 10 minutes?
I poke fun at these out of context panels, but for the most part the stories are pretty fun. If you go back and read the proto-Marvel and DC characters from the era they’re pretty much exactly the same. The reason Superman and Batman survived in an era swarming with very similar characters has much more to do with external forces than anything inherently superior in the storytelling, as far as I can tell. Because all the stories are very, very similar.
This made me laugh out loud. Thanks Gabe!
I know! Taste it and find out.
Go ahead and take a sniff sherlock, you will soon find out what it is, besides we all know this isn’t the first time you smelled a random guys finger.
“…Let me taste it and find out…” No wonder detectives are in high demand lol
So, wait a minute. Apparently the dead guy wondered the same thing. “Let me see, what’s this stuff in my ancient poison ring? *slurp*”
