Mech Edition canceled

I just got word that the HeroMachine Mech Edition project has been canceled. I didn’t have a ton of art in it, but what I have will transfer to HM3 where possible. Apologies to all, I am disappointed we won’t get to see it come to fruition.

    Does the option not exist to do it any way? Or is that just not worth it at this point.

    Well that sucks. But to look on the bright side, at least we’ll get new goodies in HM3 that you might not otherwise have wanted to draw… :D

    @Jeff: Is there some kind of curse on HM Mech? Every time you start HM Mech, the client says “We changed our minds”.

    How about HM vehicle? I’d sure like to create my very own Three-masted-X-wing-space-dragon-tracked-RV-tanker with 120mm cannon and Sidewinder missiles. Well, atleast something to create spaceships with would be nice. I can never draw capital ships right.

    @Kalkin: I think that would be really difficult. I’ve tried to customize some of the vehicles on HM and it is not at all easy. I think a CG program would be better for vehicles, but that is outside the realm of HM.

    Well, that’s because vehicles in current HM are at an angle, instead of a plain side view. Just think of how much more complicated a picture of a car with perspective from front left side at knee height is compared to the same car shown directly from the side.

    How much money would it take for you to continue working on it anyway? If I can afford to, i might willing to finance its completion

    Metalnerd, UGO handles all of that, I don’t have any clue. I think they bundle it in with a whole set of various projects when they do a campaign for a client.
