This week you need to design the main character of your very own Horror Movie. Scare us with the scariest character out there. You have to make us want to go out and get a loan so we can see the movie.

How to have you character disqualified:

#1-Not naming the file correctly. Have your name first and then your character's name (just like the picture included shows), in the file's name.

#2-Unable to right click and save. If the site you have your character on will not allow me to right click and save your character, I will not enter it in the contest.

Please follow these rules there are to many wonderful characters that may lose out.

All of the entries were great. It was hard to narrow it down to just one winner. But there was one that I had to keep going back to look at. It was one of those that stood out. With the smart phones today there is nothing out there safe from cameras anymore, and I could so see this one sweeping the Internet. Great job everyone. This week's winner is Luc.

Quick and Easy Challenge #6 “Smart Phone”

Happy Saturday morning everyone. Today's challenge is to us the smart phone in the picture below as a frame for your art work. The phone is maxed out at 999x999, and that is what yours needs to be also. The biggest part of you image needs to fit within the screen of the phone. As you can see I let the companion's hand come off of the screen to make her look as if she was coming out of the phone (at least that is what I was hoping for). It doesn't matter what you design as long more then 90% stays within the screen of the phone.

I came across a good topic last night for share day.  J.J. Abrams could be the director of the new Star Wars films by Disney. Can he do both Star Wars and Star Trek? He is a very good director and I think he can pull it off, but some people are asking the question. That is in the same realm as actors playing more then one comic book character. It has been done, not always on a good note but it has been done. I would love to talk to him about an idea that I have had for years, it deals with a cross over of the three great "Stars", Star Wars, Star Trek, and Battlestar Galactica . I would love to see that one hit the big screen, but back to the question at hand. What do you think, can he pull it off? Some rumors are that the new Star Wars will start with an older Luke running a Jedi Academy, and others say that it will be a complete new set of characters. I forgot the name of the book I read a long time ago, but it was about Han and Leia's twin's adventures when they were at the academy. That would be a cool way to go. Let us know what you think.

Due to the beautiful weather we are having here in Texas and the fact it is time to garden, I am making a small change to the weekly post for a week or two.

Mondays, Character Design Contest.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, are Kaldath's babies so no change there.

Wednesday Nights Specials, will be put on hold.

Thursdays, Will be the weekday Open Critique Day.

Fridays, Share Day.

Saturdays, Quick and Easy Challenge.

Sundays, will be weekend Open Critique Day.

Remember this is only for a short time, after I get the garden put in it will be back to the old weekly time line. This will also be a good time to make any suggestion that you may have about what you would like to see on the blog.
