This Manzarak as a female. I posted this version and a male version in My new Creations, my other HM thread. Haven’t fully developed the character, but the basics are that he/she is an ultimate mystic in the Dr. Fate mold. The head gear, in this case a hood, (I’m unsure if I’ll go hood or helmet, but I’m liking the hood), is the holder of the power, not the wearer. Not sure if the headgear is going to be the spirit of an ancient mystic or a manifestation of one of The Eternium, my cosmic beings in charge of maintaining the order of All That IS. http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-image-uploads/wndbassplayer/2014/06/MANZARAK-FMLE-1.pnghttp://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-image-uploads/wndbassplayer/2014/06/MANZARAK-FMLE-HDSHT-1.png

Jeimuzu, I was liking the hood more myself, but didn’t say so because I did not want to influence opinions, but I think I might end up with that. I’ll give it a bit more time to see if I get other suggestions, then do a fully finished version. This color scheme screams for some highlighting. Here’s a female version of Manzarak with a full face and more details, but the concept of the headgear and not the person holding the power remains.MANZARAK-FMLE.pngMANZARAK-FMLE-HDSHT.png

Yeah Stulte, in my mind I see Mr. Zigg as pretty hardcore. I need help and opinions with this next character. I see Manzarak as an ultimate mystic type, in the Dr. Fate mold. I purposely left him faceless because the idea I have for him is that it is the headgear that is possessed and in turn possesses the wearer. I’m not sure if the headgear will be the soul of some ancient mystic, or if I will make it a manifestation of one of my cosmic beings, The Eternium, but the faceless body represents it is the headgear, not the person himself, with the power. Which headgear/look do you guys think is best? If you want to post a shot of another piece of headgear as a suggestion, that’s cool.MANZARAK-BARE.pngMANZARAK.pngMANZARAK2.pngMANZARAK3.png

In his “Tell My Story’ thread, Atomic Punk mentioned a name of a school kid who, along with a few friends skipped out of a class field trip and ended up witnessing a battle between Amy Atom and One Armed Bandit. he has not posted on Hero Machine since December. I hope this does not break the No Plagiarizing, but I did ask for his permission to use the name. In the mean time, until I hear from him, I present Tim Overton, who I eventually hope to make the Rick Jones of my universe. Tim Overton created in name only by The Atomic Punk.Tim-Overton-1.png

Atomic, miss you here. I came up with a character based on a name you used in your Tell My Story’s Amy Atom”s first meeting with One Armed Bandit. Tim Overton was one of the kids you skipped out on their field trip and witnessed the battle. Like so much of your stories I have made canon, with your permission, I intend to make Tim Overton the Rick Jones of my universe. Hope all is well and hope to hear from you again soon!Tim-Overton2.png

Son4, I really dig your style. Please, feel free to go through my threads Heros, All and My new Creations and redesign anyone you want! Again, love what you did with Amy Atom; such a fresh take after so much of my basic spandex clad look!

Jeimuzu, may I share your pictures of Space Cat with a friend? She’s a cat lover, (she has 3), and I think she would get just as much of a kick out of him as I do! Either by link or screen shot, you will be given credit as the creator.

Nice bio on Mr. Zigg and he’s got one awesome cane. http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif

    Yah–one wonders whether it’s a real enemy’s skull underneath.http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-smileys/sf-surprised.gif

Thanks guys. And Herr D, I considered that idea, the cane handle being a gold plated real skull, but I thought it might be a bit to small and I didn’t want to change the size at the risk of making it too big to realistically be a cane top.

“Whether drugs or guns, these people will kill themselves and each other either way. I just supply both means.” Such is the mind of Pietro Zignewski, Mr. Zigg to his underlings. When asked about the scar on his cheek, his only reply is, “I should have killed that bitch!” He is the one behind the flow of crack cocaine, heroin and guns in Brooklyn’s minority neighborhoods. A coldhearted, calculating businessman, Zignewski is an old school Polish immigrant who lived in East New York back in the days when the neighborhood was more integrated with Polish, Russian and German immigrants. As more Blacks and Hispanics came into the neighborhood, his prejudice for non-white minorities grew and through association with Russian mobsters who admired the tough old school kid, he grew into the crime Lord he is today. His days of killing Blacks and Hispanics with his particular brand of poison are numbered, if the Urban Soul Patrol has anything to say about it, especially Basher, who will not share her reason for her particularly deep hatred for this man.http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-image-uploads/wndbassplayer/2014/06/Mr.-Zigg.pnghttp://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-image-uploads/wndbassplayer/2014/06/Mr.-Zigg-hd-sht.png

Your file is actually WAY to much over the sites file size limit which is slightly less the Half a MD in size.

OK, good to know at least nothing is wrong with my laptop. I actually suck at doing those conversions in my head, so don’t feel bad. Anything I can’t post here I put on HM’s Facebook page.

From day 1 I’ve been a fan of Space Cat, but this latest version is killer! Also, after reading all the comments, I had to go back and look at Gargoyle; WOW! And yes. great work on those hands!

Thanks, Kaldath. I’ve had this problem in the past and assumed the picture was to large, byte wise, average size in the 2mb range . It usually happened with pictures I heavily filtered using a photo editor or Comic Life.

I made a newspaper cover using HM art and Comic Life3 page layout and filters, but for some reason every time I’ve tried to post it here, I get an error message. Here’s a link to it on Hero Machine’s Facebook page. As always comments and critiques are welcome and encouraged! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151879074004229&set=o.267161975232&type=1&theater
