Minecraft Jungle Biomes Explained Jungles are among the largest and most diverse biomes found in Minecraft. Here are the steps to find a Jungle in Minecraft. Also what to expect once you reach it. The information contained in this article applies to all versions of Minecraft including Minecraft: Pocket Edition. How to Find a Jungle in Minecraft Jungles are a rare event in Minecraft. Jungles, like most biomes in Minecraft do not have a fixed location. However, they are more likely to occur close to Savannas and Mesas than Desert biomes. The abundance of tall trees that make up Jungles makes them immediately noticeable. They will nearly cover the roof of the Jungle with their leaves. You can find the exact coordinates of Jungle biomes using an external tool called Biome Finder. Jungle Trees Jungle trees can grow to 30 blocks in height and can be climbed by players using vines. The largest Jungle trees have a base composed of four blocks that extend upwards, which means you can gather 120 blocks of wood from one tree. Jungle trees are also ideal base for treehouse. The wood has a slight pinkish-red tint when the tree's Jungle Wood is refined and transformed into Jungle Wood Planks. The Jungle Wood Planks have no special attributes aside from their color. They can be transformed into a variety of tools and objects similar to all Planks. You can also create color variations for items such as Doors, Boats, and Stairs. Jungle Types Jungles biomes come in different variations: - Regular Jungle - Jungle Hills - Jungle Edge - Bamboo Jungles While regular Jungle biomes are dangerous, Jungle Hills are even worse. While in a Jungle Hill, it's best to remain seated on the ground until you can find a way to keep yourself in the air. The trees in the Edge variants are closer together. Bamboo Jungles a mini-biomes that occur within regular Jungles where the trees are smaller and you are more likely to come across pandas. Jungle Ocelots Only the Jungle biome is home to Ocelots. Ocelots can be difficult to find because of the denseness of the bushes and trees. However, they are worth the effort to locate as they are a threat to Minecraft Creepers who try to get them by sneaking up on them. Slowly approach an Ocelot with a fish that isn't cooked to capture it. After the mob has spotted you and doesn't leave then stop and remain where you are. Allow the Ocelots to approach you, and then feed them to gain their trust. Jungle Temples Certain Jungle biomes contain mysterious structures created out of Mossy Cobblestone and Chiseled Stone Bricks. These Jungle Temples are filled with traps, puzzles, and lots of treasure. You can find items like as Arrows and Bones as well as Rotten Flesh and Saddles. Jungle Plants Cocoa plants are exclusive to the Jungle biome and are found on the sides of Jungle Trees. Titan launcher and minecraft servers The Cocoa plant comes in three varieties: a small green form and a medium-sized yellow-orange form, and a ready-to-harvest dark orange-brown variety.
