I seem to be very inspired at the moment. I was working on a new character, trying out faces when I came up with this one. It didn’t fit but I liked it, so I made a separate character to incorporate it into and it sort of morphed into this.
And again.

Now, let me introduce you to my next creation- Alctas.
Said to have been born in the deepest regions of space, Alctas are very mysterious creatures. Able to to become invisible to any form of tracing or tracking device, they are very rarely seen, so rarely that their existence has passed into legend and academics in many of the universes greatest educational establishments debate whether Alctas ever did exist, how many their ever were or if Alctas was just one individual. Alctas are said to be empathic and have immense power, able to draw on background cosmic radiation to heal instantly from any attack or go on the offensive if Alctas should feel threatened.
Alex- You only get the Mewtwo vibe because of the colour scheme (but I will concede, Mewtwo was an influence. I’ve be reliving my childhood recently.)
Anyway. I came up with this a few days ago, but never found use for it. If anyone does come up with an idea for it, feel free to use it. That’s what the code is there for.

Matora
A second pseudo-mythical alien being/ race, Matora are said to be born in the cores of newly forming suns. Like Alctas, they have the ability to control cosmic radiation, but the can also emit light and heat, like the species Sol Deies, which Matora are rumored to be somewhat related to. Whilst they can’t become invisible like Alctas, the reason they are so rarely seen is that they live in the centre of suns, which is inaccessible to almost all forms of detection and most species.
The final cosmic creature, Galactivus is the most powerful of the three. It is seemingly immune to the other’s powers and has the ability to cancel them out. It is said to be made of dark matter and can channel this mysterious substance as well as cosmic energy into devastating attacks. However, all of this information is based on one single sighting, when it appeared to stop a battle between Alctas and Matora over the crab nebula, thus it is considered the rarest of the three. Whilst the sighting and its reported appearance would suggest it to be a fearsome creature of immense power, it would seem to be a very shy creature, averse to conflict.

Great designs! Very otherworldly. I know you were trying to steer clear of the Pokemon references, but I can’t help but look at this trio as an iteration of Legendary Pokemon for a more contemporary version of the series.
They usually come in trios, there are always two or three controlling a certain aspect of reality/nature, and a third/fourth super powerful one that is supposed to balance/control them all. (ie: Kyogre & Groudon with Rayquaza, the Three Birds and Lugia, the Three Beasts and Ho-Oh, the Three Dragons and Arceus, etc.)
So while the cosmic/alien concept is very cool and I especially love the way Galactivus turned out, I can definitely see these guys existing within the Poke-realm. By the way this is in no way a criticism at all! I love me some Pokemon.

I was steering clear of the pokemon references? This trio are the legendary trio of my fakedex, the Universe Trio (I was trying to figure out what hadn’t been done so I went Moon, Sun, Space). I was trying to avoid going to far into rip off territory and be ambiguous enough so that they would make sense as a separate thing. I’m glad someone spotted it though.
