    Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: invisibility, intangibility, forcefield creation
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
    Affiliations: Junior Defenders
    Other Aliases: none

    Bio:
Pam’s powers manifested themselves one day in the halls of Caligo Central High School. A boy was harassing her, trying to steal her books. In a mixture of fear and rage, her body created a forcefield around her. The boy was propelled into a row of lockers and carried off in a stretcher. Pamela didn’t know how to de-activate her forcefield and thought she was stuck underneath it. But then the Defenders arrived, a team of superheroes led by Defender. They calmed down the girl and helped her to de-activate the forcefield. They then asked if she’d like to go with them to the Defenders secret headquarters.

The Defenders trained Pamela to gain control of her forcefields, but also discover that she could become invisible and intangible herself. When she had mastered these abilities, they recruited her onto their new team of youngsters, the Junior Defenders. Pam’s mentor is the superheroine River.

What they didn’t know was that the explosion (which thankfully occurred at recess and no one was hurt) was actually an attack by a mysterious organization with the chemical X-13. The fire raged uncontrollably, and the firemen couldn’t get inside until they heard the fearful cries of a small child on the fourth floor, calling through the window. Ignoring the shouts of his superiors, Michael rushed into the blaze and carried the screaming child outside. But he had been coated with the chemical and his body had merged with the fire. Within a few days, Michael had become a being composed completely of flames, and he had gained the ability to direct the fire at anything he wished, as well as fly on a cushion of heat.

He escaped from the witches and soon learned that he could make the magic ink rise from his body and form shapes, most importantly weapons and even limited armor. Real Name: Nathaniel Ratcliffe
    Genre: Superhero
    Powers/Special Skills: brilliant scientific mind
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: cyborg body can hack into and communicate with nearby computers and electronic machines; bulletproof armor

When the suit was completed, Dr. Ratcliffe was offered the chance to be its first wearer. With some modifications to further support his nearly useless appendages, Dr. Ratcliffe allowed himself to be inserted into the suit. He enjoyed every second of it, feeling like he could walk and move again. But his disease suddenly flared up even worse than before while he was still inside, and it was determined that the only way for him to survive was to remain inside the suit for the rest of his life. Dr. Ratcliffe agreed, and became a member of the government funded group FAST alongside Agent America and others. His body continues to deteriorate, but his brilliant mind stays in tact to control his new cyborg body to protect the United States.

    Alias: Iron Maiden
    Real Name: Priscilla Payne
    Genre: Supervillain (unwillingly)
    Powers/Special Skills: metal body
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
    Affiliations: Electromagnus
    Other Aliases: none
    Status: deceased
    Bio:
Priscilla and her twin brother Parker were the children of Dr. Peggy Payne, a chemist looking for efficient ways to break down the consistency of metals. She invented two gadgets to help with this, one being a pair of gloves capable of unforming and reforming metals, which was discovered and used by Parker, and an entire suit made of semi-liquid metal that could be shaped to fit the wearer like glove and could protect he or she against heat or stray chunks when working with metal. Priscilla found, donned, and became one with this suit.

But like her brother, Priscilla had dormant mutant genes, and when she put on the suit, it fused with her DNA and she herself became a piece of human steel, unharmed by most attacks, incredibly dense and heavy, and superstrong.

Both twins were sent by their mother to Power House, a boarding school for super-powered kids, where they continued their education and learned to control their powers. They then had a short stint as a crime-fighting duo.

But tragedy struck when the supervillain Electromagnus first encountered and then became overcome with desire for Priscilla. With vast magnetic powers, he was entranced by her shiny silver body and impenetrable skin. So, using his magnetokinesis, he forced his will upon her, and she was powerless to resist his commands. She served as his lover and assistant for many months until Parker (as Forge) finally caught up to them. Seeing that he could not bring Priscilla back to the side of good, and fearing that her strength and nigh-invincibility would help Electromagnus conquer the city, Parker did that which he wanted least. He laid his hands on his twin sister and melted her into a harmless puddle.

    Alias: Ironaut

    Powers/Special Skills: military combat training
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: technological suit grants an array of abilities
    Affiliations: Mega Men
    Other Aliases: none

The US government denied any ties with Jim, and he was tortured for weeks before a daring escape after reclaiming the suit. He made his way back to the States, no longer feeling his obligation to the government. He had a close friend working at Brainstorm Industries fix the suit’s bugs, and he had soon hit the streets as the Ironaut, metal-clad superhero. The suit’s capabilities include flight, night and infrared vision, energy blasts, computer interfacing, communications espionage and jamming, and bulletproof armor.

    Genre: Superhero
    Powers/Special Skills: none
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: bulletproof armor, artificial glider wings
    Affiliations: none
    Other Aliases: Thunderhawk (rumored)
    Status: active
    Bio:
Scott is a welder for a small company in Caligo. At his house on the outskirts of the metropolis, his secret hobby is making metal sculptures with scraps he brings home from work. His favorite was a strange bird-like man with huge wings.

One day, while he and his crew were repairing a leaking water pipe beneath the city, the villain Temblor created a huge seismic disturbance during a fight with the Miracle Men. All of the men in Scott’s crew but him were killed. Scott himself spent three weeks in the hospital.

When he had healed from his injuries, Scott seemed to have a new lease on life – and his duty in it.

Using his metallurgic skills, Scott created a suit of nearly impenetrable steel with a helmet and a large set of wings. He then set to the task of stopping as much crime in Caligo as he could. Since then he has become a well-known symbol of justice for the citizens of the city.

Just recently, a similar hero has surfaced, bearing the name Thunderhawk. Some believe it is Scott in disguise, attempting to throw off his enemies, but none really know.

    Alias: Ironheart
    Real Name: unknown
    Genre: Superhero
    Powers/Special Skills: magnetokinesis
    Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
    Affiliations: Project 19
    Other Aliases: unknown
    Status: active (in the future)
    Bio:
Project 19 is a ragged group of heroes in the 22nd century. They are the last remaining resistance against the tyrannical Sphinx Foundation, which now rules the country with an iron fist and a cruel, hard hammer. America has been plunged into a second dark ages by the Sphinx executives. Anyone unable to pay the hefty price for comfortable living is forced to live in the ruins of the cities that once were, surviving on the remains. All five of these heroes were part of Sphinx’s efforts to create a superhuman, mentally controlled army. They were discarded when thought to be unable to cope with their bio-technologically installed powers. All of them awoke naked in the abandoned rubble of a leveled city, with nothing but a tattoo with each one’s designated codename.

Ironheart has the power to move and bend metal in his immediate vicinity. His most common demeanor is silent and brooding, with sudden abrupt outbursts of rage.
