The fairy fossil again, along with a sketch of what it might have looked like at the moment of its death.

Thank you, Scatman!

As I sat by my desk earlier today, trying my hardest not to do any actual work, the thought struck me how hellish a blaze in a dwarven hold would be. I spent a few hours brainstorming ideas for how a dwarven firefighter would be equiped, and produced this guy when I got home. It was a fun little project, and I don't think I've put this much thought in to any other design.

And, then I made this. Cos I'm the kind of person who builds sandcastles just to throw rocks at them.

I can tell! It's very well thought out, practical and functional, and the comparison image is great, although I'm not quite sure where the handprint came from. Cool

Thank you, Kaylin!

I'm not sure where it came from either. Maybe he was shoved by a panicing miner. Or maybe he had an itch.

Spent the entire day remaking my very first creation with Heromachine 3: Mother Swea, the personification of Sweden, similar to Uncle Sam or Britannia. (And yes, she's public domainhttp://www.heromachine.com/blog/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif)

This is without a doubt my most ambitious project yet, having taken over ten hours, and almost a hundred circular gradients. I'm still looking for ways to improve her (going to add a background, but that's a whole different project) so any comments would be greatly appreciated.

But first, the original:

And now, the remake:

And a close-up:

As always, thanks for viewing http://www.heromachine.com/blog/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif

Nice composition! And I personally like the background, simpler is better when it comes to patriotic posters.

You know what the fellow said – in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

Thank you! Maybe you're right, I don't want to draw focus away from her with a cluttered background.

Awesome designs, I love the Siren and it's silhouette.

Thank you, JR!

This last week I've been very serious in my designs. This thread needs some silly. Therefore I give you Jack Mantre and Aleksandr Allujev: private investigators, masters of disguise.

Aleksandr is hilarious and very well made.

Wow. Your hunch was correct. I had missed your entire gallery. I imagine you and I and Iscarioto and Harlequin have proven that HM3 won't be broken by unconventional uses. This is very much a more versatile site than it would necessarily appear, and I'm glad to see others aware of that. My favorite so far, I think, is your fairy fossil. [side note: gibberish? Does that mean your folks made up your name?]

Someone asked me had I lost my mind, and I replied that it was still at the other end of my eyestalks. They grumbled about signing the non-disclosure forms. Such a useless behavior, even for a h- um, a person with a lot to do.

You know only one of two things can come of this situation:

1. A musical montage of her showing him the ways of the forest, as they fall madly in love despite of their cultural differences.

2. Genoicide.

Place your bets, folks!

Why not both? To the left you have Roamana, to the right you have Joustiet. The saccharine tunes pass, killing most of the audience, then they part ways planning to have extremely deformed and very violent children. Then Roamana's family, the Capistranoswallows, and Joustiet's family, the Mountthegores, find out and kill off each other completely -- everyone dies, even most of the audience. It's a Shakenuphere Tragedy!
. . . I'm gotta stop drinking caffeine and typing. --Good work.
