Thanks guys! Here is Joshua Quinn, one of the most powerful mutants in my universe. He is a massively powerful telekinetic who has so much telekinetic energy that it often comes off of him like electricity. He was once a student of the institute, but as his power levels increased, he became more dangerous. When he got to the point where he could move things at the molecular level, his friends got worried that he'd might do something he'd regret. It didn't help that the man who murdered his parents happened to be in town. It took all of his friends, Jesse, Bradley, and Cody included, to talk him down. Josh was so disgusted with what he almost did that he left earth to do some much needed soul searching. After being gone for five years, he has returned a bit wiser and still just as powerful. Only time will tell if he can keep himself together or if he will become an unstoppable force which needs to be reckoned with.

You know what the fellow said – in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

As always you're coming up with some great, deep, characters. I really liked the first person description of Kyota, made him seem more real =)

Thanks AoL. Here is a Peranyte sniper. The Peranytes are an alien race who are remarkably similar to humans, if not for a few aesthetic differences. The Peranytes are the ones who made first contact with Earth and are the human race's greatest ally in the black unknown.

Great concept, but for some reason it's reading more as a person wrapped in cloth, rather than just cloth. I think it might be the hands. Are they really necessary or could you try removing them?

Also, and this is just my opinion, I think it might be better without the mask.

Other than that, brilliant as usual. Laugh

Thanks and I see what you mean. I edited him to get rid of hands and mask. Is this any better?

After editing Cloth, I decided to go back and save some of my creations via text on Notepad. Well, when I got onto From Out of the Rain, the layering had messed up, but it left something quite awesome. So now here is an invisible man standing in the rain, I present Ellison.

Wow! 'Rain' is fantastic! I love the effect you've done with the gradient circle.

And yes, I think Cloth looks much better now.

Thanks everybody and here is Mason, the demon whose DNA was used to create Alpha and all of the other Syncris babies. The experimentation by Syncris left him mainly in his human state, though he can shift back to his demon form for brief moments. Like Alpha, he can summon weapons, which he is a master at, and he has enhanced, if not superhuman strength, agility, and senses. After he escaped from Syncris, he became a hitman for whomever paid the most.

Here is Graak, a fighter at an intergalactic gladiatorial competition. He is a great pugilist and is an early favorite to win.

Thanks, and yes I'd imagine it being very wild.

Here is Erik Reinhardt, a german soldier from WWII who while loving his country, he did not believe in what the Nazi party was doing. He was not a monster and he did not want his country vilified for the slaughter of innocents. This belief drove him to help the allies and help some Jewish people out of the country.

Erik-Reinhardt.png

This was eventually found out by his friend and captain, Karl Lowe. Lowe also did not like what his country was doing, but his country was still his country. So he gave Erik a chance to explain himself and when he admitted to treason, he shot Erik. Erik asked his friend one thing, that he be used as a symbol. When the allies won, he did not want his family to be marred with having a nazi officer in the family. He also wanted them to know that he had died protecting people. He died and Lowe made sure that Erik Reinhardt was known as a traitor who helped the undesirables escape. Lowe also tried to protect his dead friend's family, for while he did what he had to do, he still was Erik's friend.

Captain-Karl-Lowe.png

The war ended and Erik was remembered as a hero. Lowe was an army soldier so he did not actively participate in Germany's more horrific acts and he had committed no war crimes. But having to kill his friend left a mark on him that haunted him. He lived alone and it ate away at him, until one day he could not take it anymore. He was found the next day, dead.

Here is my first entry into the contest, a character I call Fallen Angel. He was once an angel, but after falling in love with a demon, he fell. He was stripped of his angelic powers and placed on earth. This made him angry and he had years of knowledge from being God's soldier that he could use for his revenge. So he placed enochian symbols on himself in order to regain some of his former power and to allow him to absorb angelic energies. This latter effect makes him the perfect angel killer, as their blades are made of angelic energy, they cannot harm him without something special. The Fallen Angel also has a set of mechanical wings that allow him to fly. He has gone on a massive killing spree of angelic beings and is one of their top foes.
