The Atomic Bolshevik – a former Red Army officer who was among the first responders to the Chernobyl disaster. Although exposed to massive levels of radiation, he survived with the ability to control the radiation his body absorbed. He wields a pure-energy atomic hammer and sickle that he draws from a massive irradiated tattoo on his torso.

Welcome and I really like The Bolshevik's tattoo effect.

You know what the fellow said – in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

Rib, you've been part of the community for a while, and I know I've seen you kicking around the Ugo in the past, but is this really the first time you've posted on the forums here?
It is? Well then, welcome aboard, sir.

And then I said, "Oatmeal? Are you crazy?"

Great stuff. I love the 'crashing through the wall' effect on the werewolf. It works really well.

I like the way you use shadows. Cool

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I generally approach these images as storytelling; I'm usually thinking in terms of covers to a comic, pulp magazine, or fantasy novel. I hope that comes across.

Also one of my favorite things about HeroMachine is repurposing items. I love to do it, and I love to see the creative ways that others do it.
