Thanks, Blue!

Here is a new crime fighter, THE MIME. This mute vigilante takes out the bad guys using slight of hand tricks and has unortodox fighting skills. Think of him as a street performing ninja! …'nuff said.

I so hope he builds invisible walls in front of villains and then takes an invisible weapon out of an invisible box and, with much mine performance, proceeds to do his ninja stuff. Good Job

Nice idea for a hero! And I have to agree with Bad People, he is khorosho!

You know what the fellow said – in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

Thanks alot guys. Wish I could get on to create more, but it is a very busy time for me at home and work. I just have time to browse through and see the lastest characters being fleshed out. I have some ideas kickin' around and hope to show you them soon. Lovin' all the new talent joining in and good to see some of the alumni returning. Cheers!

Here's the latest. I have a military strike team called "Broken Arrow" that I created for a background for my character Stonebourne and his mentor Warhorse. The latter being on the team that was based during the Vietnam War and were used for "special" missions. Stonebourne's father, being the leader of the team, history becomes quite unclear after the team imploded during an operation. I should post the team's members past line-up soon.

So, I'm beginning a new incarnation of "Broken Arrow" starting with ARMY ANT. This character's powers let him split into 10 "drones" of himself. The unfortunate side effect of this ability is that his intelligence diminshes the more drones he creates.

Cheers!

Easily one of my favorite's of your designs. I like how both the Army and Ant aspects of his name are clearly defined in his costume. Nice work my friend.

I'm guessing he made 3 versions of the character: front-facing, left and right. Then he used the left and right versions, saved them multiple times in different positions, and loaded them all on top of each other, putting the front-facing one on top last. That's how I'd do it. If you want tips on group shots take a look at my tutorial on the subject.

I don't think so…if you look at the edges of the characters I believe the grouping was done with another program such as paint or photoshop…I think, I'm not saying for sure.

Yeah, you guys are right. I used PAINT to create the effect with 2 images for the character. The "drones" are one image, but then flipped over for a mirrored image. The trick was getting the background guys to be faded. I tried reducing the color Alphas down to half , but anything that was overlapped didn't look right. I then relized I was going the wrong way and just dropped a background shape item on top and reduce the colors to 30%. That gave me the even faded image effect I was looking for.

Thanks for the compliments, fellow machiners.

Cheers!
