Believe it or not, that's been a topic of several dinner table conversations at my place :)

 

I tend to go with 'Super Genius'.  It would allow me to build all kinds of crazy gadgets, and turn a profit from it as well.

 

No, not Wile E. Coyte super genius, more like Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Bruce Wayne, and Dr. Doom.

Iv always liked telekinesis. The applications are limitless, making your work easier, helping in a fight and the most important when your on the toilet and realize the roll is out all the bag is never too far away LOL.

The same as Cknap, Telekinesis is the most versatile and the most useful. Especially when you're in bed and the lights are on, and the light switch is across the room.

 

If not that, then possibly electricity generation and/or manipulation. Why, because it is just cool.

Hmm…I really can't decide. Time manipulation, telekinesis or hypnotic mind control?

I'm tempted to go with option 3, just for the epic lol potential.

I would also have to say telekinesis, as CKnap stated with its' potential the power allows for the mimicry of many abilities, though if I could only have one ability, it'd be flight. Being afraid of heights it'd take some time getting use to, I'd be one of those guys laying stiff as a board with my arms extended floating maybe 3 feet above the ground jerking back and forth while trying to keep balanced. The hidden beauties of this old world that could be revealed with such an ability, the sheer joy of flight in itself, not to mention how funny it would be to mess with people. I think flight would just be very peaceful.

i think i would most want the combination of invisibility and wall-crawling. i'd be even more of a ninja!
i've been thinking about if this genius converted his brain into a computer, then manufactured and controlled genetically engineered clones of himself through a computer chip in their brains, which can also interface telepathically with computers.
whatya think?

Energy absorbstion.
Why?
Easy i could drain the energy from any source of power, be it kenectic, solar, hydro , or even radiation. Sure its not equal to that of a lot of other powers but it would still be pretty sweet.

I have to say rebranch. Something goes wrong, I activate the 'undo-redo-differently-till-I-get-it-right' power.

Someone asked me had I lost my mind, and I replied that it was still at the other end of my eyestalks. They grumbled about signing the non-disclosure forms. Such a useless behavior, even for a h- um, a person with a lot to do.

I would love that power. It would be so useful. But you know what would make it even more useful? The option to "redo" a day without undoing the original day. So you could spend the day at work or school or wherever, and also spend the same day at home on HeroMachine… Laugh

HEYYYY! We could call that power 'split-screening' or 'polywicking' (burning candles from more than both ends) or 'mousing' from the Hitchhiker's Guide concept of pandimensional beings multitasking by their very existence. This goes well with my ideal of growing up to be able to step from road to road not taken in one stride.

That actaully does sound pretty usefull but in my defence id prefer to be able to see 30 secs into the future so i can see any problems coming my way and avoid them

DC--I have considered that, but it would need to be dependent on something other than a time frame. Otherwise if someone were to just fool you for that time frame, say, with a slow acting poison, that would be it. My way, you still suffer, but if you figure it out before your subconscious mind dies, you live and maybe learn, and go back as far as you need to. Also, if a Rebranch dies, it will wind up being so quick as to be painless. What's faster than subconscious thought?

Well thats a tough question to decide on. hmm? I would have to go with Gene and say Super-Genius. Only for the reason being that I would be able to have a great knowledge of anything. Such as Technology in Bruce Waynes case or well no thats mostly it when superheros have great knowlege.Laugh
