You can't mask multiple things to the same base, your best bet is to use multiple base items in the same position and size and mask to them.

What you should try is masking insignias or background items to the body part you want, then changing the alpha setting in the colour page, for a more realistic look try making the line colour more transparent. Hope this helps

I'm just wondering how so many of you do that amazing tattoo work? Every time I try to put a tattoo on they look like crap. I mean they look like there just laid over top. I cant get them to wrap around the body or arms & how do you guys get rid of the excess that hangs off the body?

Thanks guys for the help. Like JR said all of the left items are not done yet, this may be some of your troubles. Have you tried starting without a template?

I'm also on a mac and I've never had any of those problems, using Safari or otherwise. Some weapon items can only be found in the items-right section. Don't both looking in items-left because it only contains the tech & horror items.

Welcome to Hero Machine. I also use a Mac and was having trouble with HM3 when I first started. Are you using Safari as your browser? When I started with HM I could only use HM2.5 and HM Classic on Safari. I added Google Chrome and have no problem with HM3 now. Hope this helps, good luck.

If I use a template than the weapons are there but as soon as I switch to a body part or anything else they are all gone again.
I'm on a mac & have the newest flash.

Love the site! Having trouble with heromachine 3. I'm not getting all the stuff (weapons,armor,gear) for example all I get for weapons is tec & horror. I'm I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the reply. Jeff also suggested making sure I have the latest version of Flash, which I do. I have Firefox as well as Safari and go back and forth between the two. Like you said, I guess I'll see if another Mac user has any input. I'm eager to post my creations and get some feedback. I put up a video on Youtube of some characters I made. I'll try my hand at posting some characters tonight. Thanks again. Peace.

I am not sure what to tell you, I don't have a Mac myself but Jeff uses one and since he is the creator of the program I am certain that is not the issue. The only thing I can suggest is using a different browser. Not having a Mac I am not sure what other browsers are available for it besides Safari, though I do believe Chrome has a Mac version. If that doesn't help maybe try updating to the latest version of flash if you haven't already. Failing that I don't know what else to suggest and you will have to wait for another Mac users to chime in.
