First of all I want to say that I have used Hero Lab (previous versions) for years, and I love it. I find the improvements in 3.0 to be very nice and useful. Keep up the good work.

There are currently a few bugs I noticed with despondency in the loads. I have mostly been using the Standard Female initial load. I attempted to reload this build 3 times, to see if it was just incomplete.

    1. The standard female load the example character that loads is Male.
    2. When starting with a fresh build with the Standard Female load the FootRight menu loads with Female, MaleStandard, and MaleTech sub options — > however the FootLeft loads with only MaleStandard option.
    3. HandRight loads with Standard, Zombie, and Female options –> HandLeft loads with only Standard and Zombie options.

I know I can load additional templates to correct this; but it seems a bit strange for a standard suggested load. If I see any other discrepancies I will post them.

Yes, these are quite annoying, aren’t they, but there are work-arounds.

1: Number 1 is a bug that has been there a while, and I don’t think Jeff will be fixing it any time soon. When you click to load the Standard Female, what actually loads is the Male Fantasy Warrior template for some reason. The way to get the actual Female Standard template is to click the “Template” option at the bottom, and find it on there. You will also see some other templates. I find the Female Fantasy Warrior quite a good one to use as a starting point.

2 and 3: Jeff just hasn’t got round to adding the Left feet and hands for girls yet. Don’t worry, he’ll get there. For now, you’ll need to make two copies of the right hand or foot, flip one and move it over to where you want it. I know it’s a pain to have to do it every time, so why not create your own template and load that up? That way you can get it exactly how you want it.
