I've moved the post in question to its own thread in the Art Gallery I've named arvok's art

Kaldath's Solaria Debis: Great pose, color scheme, facial expression, and costume (especially how the cape lays across the shoulders, and the fur-lining on the gloves)

arvok, I see what the confusion is now. You can not nominate your own creations for Hero Of the Month. To get a nomination you simply need to post your Heromachine artwork on these forums ( ideally in the art gallery, but contest entries posted in any active Heromachine art contest thread can be nominated also ) Then hope someone else likes the picture enough to nominate it.

Thanks for the Nomination, I see I will have to put together a quick little Bio for Solaria now ;)

yes my intention was not to nominate myself… i thought rules for posting on this forum were what I had read and realize the rules were for this nomination area , not posting in general. DUR ME! And my confusion was not that I cannot nominate myself, you have that wrong, nomination implies someone other than yourself, I know that. Like I just mentioned, to clarify, my confusion was on the forum posting rules in general. which I understand now. Thanks for the move :)

Ahhh, No as you surmised what you read was the rules for Hero Of The Month. Here are the General Forum rules

http://www.heromachine.com/for…..ou-post-1/

most of the rules are in the first post, with a couple additional rules added in later posts.

And finally, here's another update. This is Guiding Light. He was the first great superhero of Earth in my universe. He has all the usual powers of a hero of his type, superstrength, speed, durability, enhanced senses, and so on. But no eye beams or freeze breath. He also carries a staff with some light manipulating abilities. This is pretty much a full redesign as the first couple of designs weren't very good. As usual, the redesign is first followed by his older images. Older images may be kinda big.

Headless General's Guiding Light is fantastic and well deserving of a nomination.
