Hey I was wondering, I think it would be a great idea to offer a download of Hero Machine for home computers, that way people with slow or unrelyable internet connections (talking from experiance here lol) can create characters without going online, plus all the items will load instantly and of course it will still support online creation with text saves etc. What do you think?

Jeff was talking about offering an off-line version when UGO gave him back full rights. He said if it cost him to much to keep the web site going the off-line version would be an option.

Yes, that's very much in the plan for the very near future. That will be a paid-for option I'm 99% sure.

Would the buyable version be upgradable with all the new stuff that might come later? I don't think there would be much point in paying for something that is not as good as the free version. Of course the whole HM concept is to awesome that it is worth paying for, but…

    Has anything happened with this?

Jeff was able to keep things going, so nothing in the works right now on the offline version right now.

Jeff is still working on a few new items, converting the male versions of items over to female versions a few other things in the program. HM won’t be for sale as an offline version until that is finished.

Definitely want to buy the offline versions (I bought the offline version of 2 a few years ago.)

ALSO would love to be able to buy add on packs afterward *hint hint*
