I think what Kyle is getting at is that if you keep the number of votes hidden then there is more suspence when it comes time to reveal the winner. With them visible before the revealing then you pretty much know what the outcome will be early on; a little anti climactic. Despite that it is nice to see the results after the revealing.

I did it that way with FNF, Dan, but people seemed to figure it out pretty quick. I thought the ability to vote for more than one entry would tend to cancel out any favoritism and whatnot, but I'm open to persuading that anonymity would be better. And I wanted all the Finalists to get recognition for superlative designs, making the cut should be a reward too, I think.

Any opinions on all that one way or the other?

Might I suggest that you keep the names of the entrants anonymous until the voting is complete? That way the voting is based solely on the strength of ths submission.

Thanks for the nudge Jeff, and although I enjoy looking at the comedic/parody type entries, I entirely agree with you, that it shouldn't have been included in the votes. I mainy did it just for fun, I meant to make a serious entry or two, but just didn't get around to it.
There are some great entrants here. I'm going to have to go with the Imp's Minuteman, followed by DiCicatriz’ Minuteman in a close second. Seeing as Captain America is by far the greatest hero of all time, I just have to give it to his patriotic counterparts.
