He also has icing on his shoulders. I’m willing to bet that he also has icing elsewhere on his costume.

Perhaps he’s actually supposed to be a giant Twinkie? Or a vanilla-cake Hostess Ding-Dong? Some sort of frosted snack treat, anyway, although if that were the case you’d think he’d be sweet, not sour.

That might actually explain it, though. Think about it. He has to be sweet, perhaps excessively so, while on the job…exactly how much of that do you think a man could stand before a sort of natural revulsion would set in?
