As bizarre as it may sound, they got their own special around the same time as “Avengers Dissemabled” called “Great Lakes Avengers Dissembled” It’s available as a TPB and is actually quite good. It’s funny, loads of characters die and it adds a lot of background to the characters. Let’s just say that by the end of the book, they end up as a whole new team! ;O)

That’s right, the Great Lakes Avengers! Wow, the issue where they’re introduced is in one of the random piles I got, how funny. Did anything ever come of that group or were they a one-time guest appearance?

If I’m not mistaken, that Nickelodeon show Fairly OddParents has a character identical to this guy here… colors and everything. He’s basically a spoof on the old 60’s Batman, complete with Adam West voice-overs. These two aren’t related, are they? No licensing deals, were there?
