Where is this all going?

Before I get going whole-hog on the site, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the kinds of things I am going to talk about. And if that's not meta enough for you, I don't know what is.

I want, obviously, to talk about the HeroMachine project itself. That includes what I'm working on at any given time, what we're thinking of for the future, and some insights into the creative process.

I want to involve you, the users, in the development of the application, including items you want, features you'd like to see, and what priority you'd assign to it all.

I want this blog to be a way for anyone who's interested and has good insights to be a part of a software development team.

I want to discuss anything related to super-heroes, science fiction, fantasy, and comic books.

I want to expand on the fundamental "mission" of HeroMachine, the notion that people are inherently very creative and just lack the tools (or the time to develop the tools) to express it.

I want to show you how a professional illustrator plies his craft, and maybe along the way help someone become a better artist.

So there you have it, the "HeroMachine Blog Manifesto". Chime in with any thoughts you have about where you'd like to see all this go and we'll talk about it.
